The drafting works from day one. The self-improvement side needs runway, and it will tell you plainly when there isn't enough data yet, rather than manufacturing insight to look useful.
What you need before you buy
It runs inside an AI agent you already pay for. Two are supported.
- Recommended Claude, on a paid plan (Pro or Max). The desktop app, one-click tool install, and scheduling built in. Scheduled runs use your plan usage.
- Or ChatGPT Codex, if that’s already your setup. Same five tools, same setup interview. You copy two items into your project instead of clicking install, and Codex Automations run the schedule.
- A computer that’s actually on at whatever time you want drafts to appear. Both platforms run on your own machine, so a 6am slot won’t fire if the laptop is shut.
- About an hour, once. Twenty minutes for the intake and forty-five for setup — ideally in one sitting, while the intake is fresh.
Two honest caveats on the Codex route: carousel slides need Playwright installed, and while it's fully documented it isn't formally supported — if something behaves differently there, it may not be reproducible on our end. Your config review applies either way, since the settings files are identical across both.

Why is it called Presence and not LinkedIn?

How is Self-Build different from the $200/month version?
Same underlying system — voice profile, content pillars, cadence — but you're the one running it, on your own machine, with no recurring fee. The done-for-you version has a person doing the writing, at $350 to set up plus $200 every month after.
What if the drafts miss the mark at first?
Tell it specifically what's wrong — “too formal,” “the openings are weak,” “stop trying to be clever.” It updates your voice settings in response. Say the same note three times and it should offer to make the fix permanent.
Do I need to know how to code?

What if I get stuck?
